Henry Cloud and John Townsend advise us to “avoid toxic people” in their book “Boundaries”. I am glad to read that they now wrote a clarification about it: The Difference Between Toxic and Imperfect People.

As far as I am concerned, I have met many imperfect people but didn’t yet meet any toxic person. Actually I seriously doubt that such persons exist. Relationships can be toxic, but not persons.
