When God calls you

This morning, while sitting in the bus for a rehearsal of the Misjonikoor (that’s worth another story), I felt once more that God is calling me to intensify my work of collecting input for the Synod on Synodality. My reaction to our communication challenges are very surprising for myself. It’s not me who planned this.

Yesterday I animated the second consultation meeting with the English-speaking community. I am experiencing a “stack overflow” of ideas. One of my ideas is to help Didier start a project “Save the old mass”. And in case you fear that my professional engagement on Lino is suffering from this, I’d say the opposite: the customers are rather quiet at the moment (and I am highly efficient with answering incoming requests), Hannes and Sharif are doing research work, and they are motivated by the fact that I have been leaving them on their own a bit more than usual during the last weeks. I am aware that this is a situation for developing a burnout.
