Belgium shows courage regarding e-scooter regulation

The Belgian government gives a good example by introducing relatively strict laws for regulating usage of e-scooters in public space. The new rules gained sufficient parliamentary support in less than a year.

“They’ll be largely forbidden to anyone younger than 16, with prohibitions on driving on the pavement or having a second passenger. Parking will be relegated (…) to so-called drop zones.” (Belgium puts the brakes on e-scooters as injuries, annoyance grow)
