What a sinful world!¶
Saturday, July 4, 2026
It’s a sin to continue saying, in 2026, that homosexuality is a sin. Because we know that homosexuality is no sin, everybody who researched honestly knows it. Another sin is to say that queer people have no problem with sexuality. Yes, we live in a sinful world ;-)
And even the church fails to be clear about it. Which just means that it’s too early for these questions. Humanity is more than a few countries who happen to have enough money for high-quality basic education. Queer people won’t get their rights as long as there are millions of children who don’t even get enough food and water, not to speak about education.
This is just my summary after reading the news.
20260702 A document signed by Cardinal Víctor Manuel Fernández, Prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, defines the rite celebrated on 1 July as an “act of a schismatic nature,” with an explanatory note providing details of the grave canonical sanction of excommunication. Excommunication decreed for Lefebvrite episcopal ordinations
20260702 For years, every June, the Pride flag flew outside Enfield Civic Centre in north London. This June, it didn’t. The borough’s new Conservative administration has adopted a policy of flying only the Union Flag, the Flag of St George, and the Enfield Beast. It made an exception, days later, for the Armed Forces Day flag. (Pride flag bans are spreading across England – and there’s more at stake than just flags)
